CCTV 14, one of the channels of China Central Television, the National Free TV broadcaster, started airing the VIPO program this Monday, June 3rd with daily broadcasts of an episode at 12:00 and a re-run at 22:00. Free TV rights for both series ”VIPO – Adventures of the Flying Dog” and “Surviving Time Island with VIPO & Friends”, as well as all music song clips from the series, were acquired by CCTV last year during MIPTV. Since then all 52 episodes were dubbed to Mandarin. This TV placement opens an important future market, with a population of more than one billion people getting to know VIPO & Friends. Globe Edutainment’s representative in Bejing is currently in negotiation with several other partner companies, e.g. for publishing and home entertainment.
