Chupa Chups® To Be Represented By Infiniss In The South Korean Market

Chupa Chups has selected Infiniss co ltd, a leading licensing agency in the Korean market, as an exclusive partner to represent the brand for licensing opportunities in the country.

 

Infiniss, which is already the licensing partner of other well-known companies/brands, will be responsible to expand the licensing program in Korea, developing the loved and renowned Italian confectionary brand Chupa Chups® as a total lifestyle concept targeted primarily at teenagers.

Chupa Chups® was launched in Spain back in 1958 but at present the brand belongs to the Italian confectionery group Perfetti Van Melle, which ranks third in the global sugar confectionary market.
Chupa Chups has very much become a part of popular culture and a generic name for round lollipops in many countries. The famous flower logo of the lollipop, was designed by the artist Salvador Dalí himself in the late sixties.
Today, Chupa Chups® is the most popular and consumed lollipop in the world: one out of four lollipops sold worldwide is a Chupa Chups®. Every year billions of these high quality lollipops, with a huge variety of flavours in eye catching colourful wrappers, are enjoyed by people of all ages in 150 countries.

Over the years, the brand values of Chupa Chups® have expanded into new products on the wish list of its fans. Chupa Chups® has developed a lifestyle licensing program which is rapidly expanding into its key markets such as Korea, where the brand has been present already for a few years.

A joint strategy has been designed to build a new programme over the next three years in which Infiniss will manage licensees across a wide range of lifestyle categories such as apparel, cosmetics, fashion accessories, digital games, small electronics, stationery and toys, among others. Strategic co-branding collaborations, promotional licensing opportunities and event licensing opportunities will also be pursued.
