LIMA UK at BLE 2014

LIMA UK - September 2014

LIMA UK the London office of the global licensing trade association, will have a new home at Brand Licensing Europe 2014 as it takes a premium location within the “Brands” area upstairs at Olympia on stand #L100.

The freshly designed LIMA stand will feature a promotional area where staff members will be on hand to discuss the benefits of a global association, and our aim to be the leading international provider of licensing education and information. Staff will also be available to discuss member benefits for the upcoming year; to include exclusive member savings on major shows such as BLE, Licensing Expo, Hong Kong International Licensing Show and other networking events.

The LIMA stand will also feature meeting space for members – a well-utilized benefit each year.

LIMA’s UK Managing Director, Kelvyn Gardner, will also be reprising his popular “Introduction to Licensing” talks to open the BLE Licensing Academy each morning of the show at 9.30am. Here, any visitor to the show will be able to hear his punchy summary of how licensing works, how to do deals and what to look out for at BLE 2014.

LIMA Networking party!

LIMA’s hotly anticipated Global Networking Party will be on Wednesday 8th October, 5.30-7.30pm in the dazzling Crystal Room at The Mayfair Hotel, Stratton Street. Tickets cost £60 (+VAT) for members and £120 (+VAT) for non-members and include canapés and drinks. LIMA’s annual global networking party is the must attend event during BLE and attracts international attendees from some of the world’s largest media and entertainment companies.

The LIMA Networking party will be sponsored, for the second year, by the Hong Kong Trade and Development Council (HKTDC), which is the body dedicated to promoting Hong Kong trade and opportunities.

HKTDC will be at stand #H080 during BLE 2014.

Kelvyn Gardner, Managing Director, LIMA UK commented: “Brand Licensing Europe is an incredibly welcoming trade show. If you’re thinking about licensing, you should definitely come along. Don’t be put off because you think that you don’t know enough about how it works. Every morning I present a 30 minute basic introduction to licensing and to the show – just come along to that and you’ll know enough to get far more out of your first contact with the licensing community – I guarantee it. If you like what you see, consider networking with all the industry heavyweights at our Global Networking Party on the Wednesday night in Mayfair. It’s a fun evening of conversation, canapés and contact creation!
