Zapf Creation AG, Europe's leading manufacturer of play and functional dolls, announced that its Supervisory Board has appointed yesterday evening Mr. Jens Ulrich Keil (39) the company's new chief financial officer (CFO). Mr. Keil will take over as CFO effective March 1, 2007. On the Management Board, Keil will be responsible for Finance, Capital Markets, Restructuring, Human Resources, IT, Logistics and Supply Chain Operations. The Finance department is currently headed on an interim basis by Mr. Thomas Pfau, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer. Jens Ulrich Keil previously worked for retail group Wal-Mart Germany, where he headed the central Controlling and Accounting departments from 2005. After joining Wal-Mart in 2001, Mr. Keil gradually assumed several financial management tasks, initially in Planning and Reporting, and most recently in Purchasing and Sales Controlling. Before that, Mr. Keil gained his professional and management experience in the Finance departments of Otto Versand, TÜV Rhineland and the entertainment Group Nintendo from 1993. Mr. Keil has a German degree in business administration. |
