Tom Allen returns to host The Licensing Awards 2022
Brandora Editorial Staff - July 2022Back by popular demand after his appearance at last year’s awards’ event, comedian, actor, writer and presenter Tom Allen will be returning as host of The Licensing Awards this September.
Tom’s signature style of acerbic wit and riotous storytelling went down a storm with guests at last year’s return to the Grosvenor House Hotel for the licensing industry’s big night.
“Good things are worth repeating and as Tom went down such a storm with us all at last year’s awards event that we are delighted that he was very happy to squeeze us into his busy schedule for this year’s Licensing Awards,” commented Ian Hyder, ceo of Max Publishing, which owns and organises the Licensing awards, as well as Licensing Source Book and LicensingSource.net
Tom has recently confirmed that he will be going back out on tour in 2023, with a new show called Completely while a new book – Too Much – is also due for launch in November 2022.
On top of this, new show The Island hit screens earlier this year and has been a hit with audiences. Tom has also continued with hosting duties for The Apprentice: You’re Fired and Bake Off: The Professionals, as well as being a regular on Bake Off: An Extra Slice and Alan Carr’s There’s Something About Movies.
