Broad Street Licensing Group to extend Burger King®, brand licensing program overseas

The Broad Street Licensing Group announced today their client, Miami-based fast-food giant Burger King Corporation has expanded its brand licensing program to include international opportunities. Carole Francesca, president of Broad Street Licensing, said, Burger King Corporation is in the midst of an ambitious international expansion, and we anticipate extending the work we´ve done for them into new territories, especially Europe and Asia. South America is also an untapped opportunity we´re evaluating. Prior to this, the brand had only pursued domestic opportunities.

Francesca cited recent licenses, including snacks and downloadable cell phone games as having application overseas. Other close-to-core categories include apparel and accessories in the lifestyle channel, and meat snacks and other food extensions tied to the expansion of the snack food roll-out.
