Expansion of long-standing partnership with home entertainment provider. Based on its existing framework contract, EM.Entertainment GmbH has licensed further DVD and video rights to Universum Film GmbH for exploitation within the German-speaking region. The new agreement reached with Universum Film in December last year grants marketing rights within Germany and Austria to a range of well-known children’s and youth programs from the EM.Entertainment rights library. The program package includes Fraggle Rock, the popular show created by “The Muppet Show” creator Jim Henson, as well as cartoon productions Alice in Wonderland and Tao Tao. Universum Film also acquired exploitation rights to animation series The Rainbow Fish, based on the children’s book of the same name, within Germany, Austria and Switzerland. |
