At least since Dolly has been cloned, genetics are no longer a topic only interesting for biologists. With "Abenteuer Wissen Genetik" now even children aged 10+ have the opportunity to gain first insights into this exciting field of research. “Abenteuer Wissen Genetik” is Germany’s first ever experimental lab kit that allows children to isolate the DNA of vegetables. With red and white plastic chips junior biologists can trace different inheritance patterns of traits, learn about Mendel’s Laws and understand why brown-eyed parents sometimes have blue-eyed children. Two chromosome puzzles playfully teach little scientists the structure of chromosome complements and what they can deduce from it.
