ER’s Strengthens Sales Teams with Territory Reshuffle and Key Promotions

Entertainment Rights Plc, the UK’s leading global media group specialising in the ownership of children’s and family programming, characters and brands, today announced it has promoted ER Director of Sales, Chloe van den Berg to the position of Executive Director of International. Chloe continues to report to Jane Smith, Chief Creative and Commercial Director.

The promotion recognises Chloe’s outstanding contribution throughout her time at ER in which her strategic and commercial focus has enabled her to far exceed the role of managing ER’s wholly owned television brands and home entertainment portfolio. In tandem with Chloe’s promotion a number of the members of the ER International Children’s and Family Sales Team that Chloe oversees have seen their individual roles and responsibilities revised in acknowledgement of the Division’s overall growth.

Jane Smith, Chief Creative and Commercial Director, Entertainment Rights Plc, commented: “Chloe has shown exceptional commitment to the company and this promotion recognises the contribution she has made in running one of the most highly regarded and successful International Children’s and Family Sales Teams in the world. Chloe’s knowledge of the children’s and family television market is unparalleled and moving forward Chloe’s primary goals will include increasing the presence of the existing Entertainment Rights portfolio outside of North America, including all of the Classic Media and Big Idea properties, and as importantly, continuing to source and secure additional innovative and original content for the ER portfolio as a whole.”

Key promotions within the ER International Children’s and Family Sales Team include:

Emmanuelle Bon promoted to Senior Territory Manager. Emanuelle is responsible for ER’s portfolio throughout France and her promotion now sees her take on the region of Benelux as part of her remit.

Leila Ouledcheikh promoted to Senior Territory Manager and will continue to be responsible for all German speaking territories, Middle East and Africa.

Barbora Sopkova promoted to Territory Manager and will continue to be responsible for Central & Eastern Europe.

Bruna Ruaro promoted sales executive covering Southern Europe, encompassing Greece, Cyprus, Malta and Turkey, markets previously covered by Leila Ouledcheikh.

Chloe joined Entertainment Rights in September 2000 as Head of Sales and has played a major role in defining the success of ER’s International sales growth. ER’s catalogue now stands at 3,500 hours of high quality kids and family programming. Chloe has grown and developed the International Sales division, managing a team of talented sales executives which now includes the recent appointment of Adam Selley as Head of Sales.

Chloe’s achievements include developing and managing ER’s third party relationships with key partners such as Hasbro and Mattel, amongst others. Chloe is also adept at identifying emerging trends and potential business opportunities within the International market to maximise ER’s Group revenues, as reflected by the successful launch of Postman Pat® in China and Germany.
