EM.Entertainment and Deutsche Telekom AG agree partnership within video-on-demand sector

Expansion of strong VOD presence:
EM.Entertainment has licensed a program package to Deutsche Telekom AG for Germany-wide exploitation within the video-on-demand sector. The scope of the agreement makes titles from the EM.Entertainment program library available on Deutsche Telekom’s online video store “Videoload”. Customers of the T-Home Entertain package will also be able to enjoy the selection of high quality children’s films.

Alongside film adaptations of Erich Kästner’s well-known novels The Flying Classroom, Charlie & Louise – Das doppelte Lottchen, Emil and the Detectives and Annaluise & Anton, the program package includes current animation series such as Lapitch, the Little Shoemaker and Kaput and Zösky, as well as Felix the Cat – a true cartoon classic.

Deutsche Telekom offers an extensive range of current blockbusters, classics, animes and fascinating documentaries via its online video store “Videoload” (www.videoload.de) available for sale or rent, with more than 2,600 feature films from 18 categories, from blockbusters through to documentaries – many already in HD quality. The online video store is also conveniently available on television via T-Home Entertain.
