ER announces further international broadcast agreements for Transformers Animated

TV Series Sold To Over 80 Territories

Entertainment Rights Plc the UK’s leading global media group specialising in the ownership of children’s and family programming, characters and brands today announced it has secured further significant broadcast agreements for the new TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED series (26 x 22 minute) plus a 70 minute special episode.

As ER heads into MIPTV the company has secured broadcast agreements in over 80 territories including new key international broadcast platforms; Mediaset (Italy), Turner Broadcasting (Australia, Latin America and India), Jetix (Israel, Netherlands and Belgium), Network 10 (Australia), TV3 (New Zealand), Mediacorp TV12 (Singapore), and TV Globo (Brazil).

This follows a highly successful initial sales effort to date which has seen TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED sell to key European TV broadcasters including Nickelodeon (UK), Gulli (France) and Super RTL (Germany).

ER holds the worldwide television distribution rights (excluding North America) covering television distribution across both free and pay tv platforms for the series which premiered to huge ratings success on Cartoon Network in the US (highest rated kids cable programme in its time slot).
