  • Atlantic Film acquires licence to Nils Holgersson

EM.Entertainment GmbH has inked deals in Scandinavia with distribution companies CN Publishing and Atlantic Film within the home entertainment sector.

Thus, EM.Entertainment granted Helsinki distributor CN Publishing exclusive DVD and video rights to Dragon Hunters for exploitation in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. The animation series has a total of 26 half-hour episodes. Eat and don’t be eaten – our once beautiful civilization has been swept away by chaos. The new world has become a victim of the omnipresent dragons. The story invites the audience to follow the colorful adventures of the two hunters Lian-Chu and Gwizdo who practice their trade neither for art’s sake nor for posterity – but strictly for cash ...

Furthermore, Atlantic Film, based in Stockholm, secured exclusive home entertainment rights in Sweden to 2D animated series Nils Holgersson. The program classic is based on the famous book by Swedish author Selma Lagerlöf and consists of 52 half-hour episodes: After an imp turns the peasant boy Nils into a dwarf to punish him for tormenting the animals on his farm, he flies away with a flock of wild geese. On this long and dangerous journey Nils and the geese become friends and he learns to love the animals. In the end, after he has learned his lesson, he regains his normal appearance.
