This Animated Series distributed Worldwide by BRB Internacional will be aired daily, at 13H05, by Canal + Family

The Imp introduces one of the most charming evil creatures on TV. The original Animated TV Series will debut on the French Screen through Canal+. From the 7th June, its funny sketches will be aired on Canal+Family at 13:05 p.m. daily. Its characters such as the evil Imp, his long-suffering colleague Bob, the Imp’s nemesis of goodness, Lumen, and the absurdly funny Bertrand & Philippe will produce lots of smiles for the French audience, just like they have done across the globe. Canal + has acquired all broadcast rights in France– including free TV, pay TV, video on demand and mobile- of the TV Series distributed worldwide by BRB Internacional.

Co-produced by Red Kite Animations, Screen 21 and TVC, the Series The Imp is a comedy filled with plenty of humour and irony. It is composed of 65 ninety-second episodes produced in HD3D which are voiced by well-known actors in every country. Visually striking, it presents an original Black and White world, where Imp is constantly trying to unleash a terrifying evil upon the world. The only good news is, he hasn’t got a clue of what’s he’s doing, but he’s so cute, you just have to laugh. This successful TV Series has been acquired by outstanding networks around the world –for example, Cartoon Network, in USA, Antena 3 in Spain, MTV, in Poland and Portugal, 2x2 TV Channel, in Russia, Xeip Canal One, in Mexico, and SVT, in Sweden.

Furthermore, the Series The Imp is specifically designed to be adapted to various multimedia formats such as mobile phones, web, consoles, MP3 players, blogs,…. In fact, it has recently launched an interactive website - www.theimp.tv - where the users can download episodes, screensavers and games for free. Winner of the MIPCOM JR Licensing Challenge 2006 and chosen by Kidscreen Magazine as Best Property for Licensing 2007, The Imp’s brand is standing out in the merchandising area too.
